Homework Policy/Expectations:
Students will be assigned homework. Every night students will bring home their yellow Buckaroo folder containing classwork, homework, and any communications from me and/or the school. It is the student’s responsibility to return the folder to school the following day and turn in any homework. I will not be checking student’s folders for homework.
Students will be expected to read 15 minutes every night.
- If students do not complete daily work (reading or math assignments, etc.), they will be expected to finish these assignments as well as assigned homework during recess.
- Homework assignments may be graded for completion or accuracy.
- Students will also be completing at HOME projects. These projects should be completed independently.
- You can expect the following homework regularly:
- Spelling: Study words nightly in preparation for the weekly test on Thursday. Students may use Spelling City (www.spellingcity.com) to practice their spelling words at home.
